Roça Nova Moka

A former portuguese cocoa plantation in São Tomé that now cultivates quality cocoa and cofee used for the production of Corallo chocolate brand.

Until 1975 this plantation was privately owned by the portuguese company Sociedade Agrícola Terras de Monte Café, headquartered in Lisbon. After 1975, Roça Nova Moca State was nationalized and became part of the state-owned company Empresa Agropecuária de Monte Café untill 1990s when the concession was took over by Sociedade Agricola Santomense Lda of the famous italian agronomist Claudio Corallo. Today it cultivates the organic cocoa and coffee used for the production of Claudio Corallo chocolates.
